The immunogenomics data analysis working group (IDAWG) is an international collaboration of histocompatibility and immunogenetics investigators who share the goal of facilitating the sharing of immunogenomic data (HLA, KIR, etc.) and fostering the consistent analysis and interpretation of those data by the immunogenomics community and the larger genomics communities.

The working group was formed in advance of the 16th International HLA and Immunogenetics Workshop (IHIW) and Conference with the intent to present its recommendations on topics of data-management and data-analysis at the 16th IHIW and Conference in 2012. IDAWG projects continue in anticipation of the 17th IHIW meeting to be held in 2016.

The paper by Mack et al. (2013), describing the version 2.0.0 Update to the Common and Well-Documented HLA allele catalogue, has been published in Tissue Antigens!

The report by Hollenbach et al. (2013), describing the IDAWG 16th Workshop Immunogenomic Data-Management Methods project, has been published in the International Journal of Immunogenetics!

Presentations from the 2012 NGS Data Consortium meeting are now available online.
